Ascot Park Hotel, Invercargill

The hotel offered spacious and cool rooms, just redone to a first-class standard, equipped with everything we needed and even featuring a bathtub. The service was friendly and helpful, with a prompt resolution for a small issue despite some distractions. The location was conveniently situated on the main north road, although slightly out of town. The dining experience had a great selection but fell short in terms of fresh produce. Overall, a comfortable stay with noteworthy highlights and minor drawbacks.

The hotel is a super value, always our first choice for accommodation in Invercargill. The rooms are very spacious with a great size kitchenette. The bright light on the heater was a nice touch, and there was no noise from any car park. The service was top-notch with very friendly and welcoming staff who also let us check in early. The location, although right beside a major roundabout, was quiet and suited us well arriving by car. The dining experience was suburb with the best breakfast ever, buffet style, plentiful, and varied. The facilities were excellent and well-maintained.
